About school: EPICUREAN SCHOOL OF CULINARY ARTS was
founded in Los Angeles in 1985. It was the first cooking school in Los Angeles
to offer a comprehensive Professional Program teaching classic French techniques
that allowed students to enter the culinary world in as few as 24 weeks. The
program was developed by Culinary Institute of America graduates based on a
condensed version of their own program.
We believe in teaching cooking as a craft and an art. Our goal is to develop
students with a thorough understanding in the principles and techniques of fine
cooking. While we rely on classic French cuisine as our starting point for our
Professional Programs, we also incorporate techniques of modern day cuisines
which enables our students to enter the work force with confidence.
