"I inherited the love of cooking and baking from my parents
and grandparents. My grandmother, Eleonore, was among the first French woman
chefs in the 1900's. She was the private executive chef for the Baron Rothschild
family at their residences in Paris and Bordeaux. My grandfather, Gaston Lenotre,
was chef of the Grand Hotel. In the big city of Paris, when they discovered they
were both from the same small village of Normandy, it was love and they married.
They had two boys, my father Gaston and my uncle Marcel. With my mother Colette,
my father made the LeNôtre name famous in Paris. There was no escape for the
next generation of LeNôtre's. Along with my sisters, Sylvie and Annie, my wife
Marie and I have continued the family tradition of fine cooking and baking and
created another culinary school."
Doors Will Open for You Worldwide
For the last 50 years, the prestigious LeNotre name has been well known
throughout the world for quality French cuisine and pastry. The Culinary
Institute LeNotre is a higher education institution which provides beginners and
professionals with some of the best possible classical and innovative training
in the culinary arts and hospitality industries. With our Diploma or Degree you
will have an international passport. Welcome to a world renowned family of
chefs.
An Amazing Fast Track System to Save Time in Your Life
The Culinary Institute LeNotre has designed a fast track training system – for
example, the Culinary Arts Diploma lasts 40 weeks (4 days per week). This is
amazingly fast; most schools need 1 year for a Culinary Arts Diploma with less
recipes. Also, each Associate of Applied Science Degree (Culinary Arts or Baking
and Pastry Arts) lasts 80 weeks with the Culinary Institute LeNotre, instead of
100 weeks in most schools (for the same 107 credits in restaurant or bakery
management).
More Recipes for Your Money / Get the Best Value
Practical courses in the cooking and baking labs include more recipes than any
other school we know of (20-30 feats of skill and recipes a week). This is
possible because the kitchen labs last 4 days per week and because of small
classes. Due to low overhead (we are not part of a chain paying franchise fee
royalties) the Culinary Institute LeNotre has one of the best values of all the
cooking schools in the USA.
Small Class Sizes to Receive a Quality Learning Experience
The Culinary Institute LeNotre is dedicated to small classes with a low
student-teacher ratio average of 12 to 1 in kitchen labs. This allows for
personalized instruction. By promoting confidence in students they learn more
effectively, regardless if they are a career changer, career seeker, or just a
food enthusiast.
A La Carte at Your Speed / Tailored Programs to Fit Your Desires and Lifestyle
All classes at the Culinary Institute LeNotre can be taken a la carte, one level
at a time (enrollment permitting). They can also be broken down by week to focus
on particular recipes and skills. The Institute offers four (4) diploma programs
and four (4) Associate of Applied Science programs, each with concentration
options to choose from. The evening program is also offered for those who work
during the day
Receive Instruction 90% Hands-On in Kitchen and Bakery Labs – The Best Way for
You to Memorize Skills for Life
At the Culinary Institute LeNotre, we believe that 90% hands-on training enables
students to gain the best understanding of the culinary arts, memorize
techniques and skills better, and master the large number of recipes that are
taught here. The Culinary Institute LeNotre has enough dishwashers to free its
students from cleaning pots and pans in order for them to devote the maximum
time to the hands-on learning.
International Chef-Instructors Will Be Your First Mentors
Technical guidance and close supervision provide the students with encouragement
which boosts their confidence level. Our chef-instructors instill in the student
the professionalism and enthusiasm needed to succeed in this industry. At the
Culinary Institute LeNotre you will be challenged to reach your full artistic
potential by chef-instructors with a minimum of 10 years international chef
experience.
