Cascade Culinary Institute ® in Central Oregon Community
College, accredited by the accreditation of the American Culinary Federation
Foundation of the Commission, prepares students proficient in a variety of skill
areas: the preparation of hot and cold foods, bakery, and canteen. To be
certified, students must successfully complete the required courses by
demonstrating skills in subject areas as well as passing the written
examination.
Students working to complete the program are eligible for certification by cooks
working the American Culinary Federation. Those who complete the program can
find training positions as chefs, cooks, and in some cases Sous Chefs
