And as the home of The French Culinary Institute’s Bay Area campus, it’s a place where aspiring food industry professionals and foodies can learn from chefs who are eager to share their passion and expertise. California Campus Midway between the vineyards of Napa Valley and the fresh-caught seafood of Monterey Bay, and less than an hour's drive from San Francisco, is Campbell, California, The FCI's new West Coast home. At the heart of our California campus are three core programs—Classic Culinary Arts, Classic Pastry Arts, and Intensive Sommelier Training—all designed to prepare students for real-world careers in the world of food and wine. A range of culinary and baking classes are also on offer for serious amateur and recreational cooks who want to take their abilities to new heights. At The FCI in California, courses are taught by a team of industry veterans, Certified Master Chefs, and Master Sommeliers, who are all experts in their field and completely invested in the success of our students. With small class sizes and big emphasis on hands-on practice, our programs give students a rigorous, comprehensive education in the skills and techniques they need to succeed in the industry.
