Culinary Programs Offered:

Diploma

  • Culinary Arts a I Baking & Pastry (D)

    In the Baking & Pastry program, you all gain hands-on baking skills. Emphasis is placed on essential pastry & bread-baking techniques, in addition to all-purpose baking, desserts, cake decoration, & pastry arts. To complement your culinary techniques, you all learn critical thinking & business necessities. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as line cook & pantry cook (grade manger).

  • Culinary Arts and I Skills (D)

    In the Culinary Skills program, you all gain practical knowledge of the techniques necessary to succeed in culinary arts. From choosing the correct knife to the proper use of specialized kitchen equipment, you all accomplish insight & valuable knowledge from experienced culinary professionals. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as line cook & pantry cook (grade manger).

Associate

  • Culinary Arts (AA)*

    In the Culinary Arts program, you all have a chance to gain practical experience in the kitchen while studying the business of cost control, sanitation & safety, menu & beverage management, nutrition, & kitchen management. You all have a chance to learn to produce food quickly & in quantity while working with others. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as line cook & pantry cook (grade manger).

  • Culinary Arts with a concentration in Baking & Pastry (AA)

    In the Baking & Pastry program, you all gain hands-on baking skills. Emphasis is placed on essential pastry & bread-baking techniques, in addition to all-purpose baking, desserts, cake decoration, & pastry arts. Wine, Spirits, & Beverage Management* (AA)

 

In the Wines, Spirits & Drinks Management program, you all focus on the technique of overseeing wines, spirits, & drinks supplies for restaurants, cruise ships, or banquet facilities. You all study communications, training, leadership, management, accounting, promotion, financial management, & worker relations. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as restaurant manager, stock manager, or banquet manager.

 

*Participation in the program for those less than 21 years of age will be conducted in accord with state law regarding the possession & consumption of alcoholic drinks.

 

Bachelors

    Culinary Arts Management (BS)*

     

    In the Culinary Arts Management program, you all focus on what it takes to manage a kitchen, restaurant, or catering operation. You all study communications, training, leadership, management, accounting, promotion, financial management, & worker relations. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as restaurant manager or catering manager in restaurants, hospitals, cruise ships, & banquet facilities.

     

    Food & Beverage Management (BS)
