About School: Laguna Culinary Arts is a multi-faceted cooking school offering hands-on classes for cooks of all levels of experience, from casual beginners to serious professionals, and features a Gourmet Cheese and Wine Shop & Cafe. Whether you are interested in becoming a food service professional, or just looking to improve your home cooking, our programs are designed to meet your needs. For those who want to move beyond just food, Laguna Culinary Arts is pleased to offer a series of Wine Tasting And Wine Classes, that take place at our location in Laguna Beach. Whether you are just beginning to develop your wine palate or are an avid wine enthusiast, we’re sure you’ll find these classes fun and informative and, of course, the food will be great!

Class & Cancellation Policies
Format: All classes are hands-on and include a full meal, unless otherwise noted. Instructors reserve the right to alter menus due to seasonal availability of ingredients.

Time of class: All weekday evening classes begin promptly at 6pm, and last approximately 3 to 3-1/2 hours. The starting time for weekend and mid-week, day-time classes vary; please check the schedule for the starting time of your class.

Appropriate attire for students: Your classes will take place in a working kitchen, and you will be standing for most of the duration of your class. Therefore, for your safety and comfort, we strongly recommend that you wear flat-soled, closed toed, comfortable shoes and comfortable clothing to class.

Payment: Payment is due at time of reservation (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash and personal checks are accepted). Space is limited. If the class is full, your name may be placed on a waiting list.

Cancellation Policies: Evening and weekend classes: For evening and weekend classes, we will refund class fees for your cancellation up to one week before the scheduled class. Up to 48 hours before the class, we will issue a store credit for the class fees. No refunds or credit can be given for cancellations less than 48 hours before class. Please note special cancellation policy applicable to The Gourmet Series, Gourmet Weekend, and WSET Certification Course below.

Offer:  Laguna Culinary Arts offers a wide variety of hands-on cooking classes for the home chef. Our evening cooking program features individual and series-style 3 hour classes across a wide spectrum of cuisines and cooking styles, with delicious menus that appeal to even the pickiest eaters. We also offer a weekend program of half-day and full-day classes, where students can spend more time exploring specific techniques and culinary styles. For those interested in a true culinary adventure, we offer a 3-day, mid-week class that is designed for beginners. Class size is limited, so everyone shares in the experience of cooking. All classes focus on the art of cooking, emphasizing the use of the freshest seasonal ingredients at the height of their flavor and the importance of visual appeal.
