related to meal a day. Competitions for students enrolled
In JWU you will have the opportunity to participate in regional competitions,
national and international, including those offered by the prestigious American

Kitchen campus Competence (ICC)
As part of this annual competition organized in one of the four JWU campuses,
teams of current culinary students to test their culinary skills against their
peers before competing nationally and abroad.
The IKA / culinary Olympics
A competition held every four years in Erfurt, Germany, the IKA / Culinary
Olympics is the most prestigious culinary competition in the world. Due to
international exposure and skills required, the IKA / Culinary Olympics is
recommended for senior high students and is open to students of our campus.
During the 2008 Olympic Games, the team JWU faculty-student took four medals:
one gold, two silver and one bronze.
Campus Contests
Throughout the year, some major food service companies in the world offer
culinary competitions and recipes for students on campus. These powers generally
include the use of a specific ingredient, and the winners are awarded cash
prizes. Competitions, dates and rules are published in the campus.
