About school:
Teaching professional and non-professional chefs european style baking in
artisan breads, desserts, cakes, pastries. Located in Bend, Oregon. Marda
Stoliar is the Director and chief instructor of the International School of
Baking. Marda's credentials as a master baker are superlative. She has been
active as a baking consultant and teacher in China, Macau and Hong Kong for the
U.S. Wheat Associates in Washington D.C. In Asia she works mainly with
professional bakers and educators. She has taught French cooking, pastries and
bread baking since 1965.
Bakeries on a Budget
The International School of Baking teaches a complete course in opening bakeries
on a budget. We have worked with entrepreneurs all over the world. Each four
week course is tailored to the needs of the individual student and their
individual goals. We are the only school that customizes our course to fit the
student and we are the only school that teaches one-on-one.

Course Fees & How to Calculate Them

Classes are $600.00 per day / per student (see below for examples)

All courses are 100% Hands-On and customized to the individual student

Length of each course is determined after full consultation with student

Maximum 2 students per Class

8 hours per day (9:AM until 5:00 to 5:30)

The Baking School's courses range from 2 to 20 days, even 30 depending on the students direction

Because the courses are completely individualized, there are no "pre-scheduled" courses.

Courses will be scheduled based on the needs of the student and the available dates for the school.

Certificates of completion are awarded for each course

Follow-up and Continuing Educational support are available on a consulting basis by Marda Stoliar & Associates
