Raita cucumber and carrot

Ingredients:

  • 1 / 2 grated carrot
  • 1 / 2 cucumber
  • 2 natural yoghurts
  • some fresh coriander leaves
  • salt
  • 1 / 2 red onion, minced

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, carrot, onion, cucumber peeled and cut into cubes
  2. Stir in chopped coriander
  3. Add salt and mix
  4. Chill 1 hour before serving the raita

Serve with raita byriani
